Section 8 Rental Assistance
The Section 8 Rental Assistance Program can help you pay your rent if you are income eligible. Eligible families and individuals select their own rental units, and pay 30% to 40% of their adjusted gross income towards rent and utilities. Northwest Minnesota Multi-County HRA pays the balance of the rent. HUD affiliate.

Minnesota Urban & Rural Homesteading (MURL)
This program allows low income, at risk families, to purchase a home with no down-payment and no interest. Monthly payments are based on affordability and adjusted as income increases. Incoming dollars received support other potential home owners and are used to purchase and fix additional houses. HUD affiliate.
